Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the works of important Czech and international architects, their theories and historical significance in the 19th and 20th centuries. The course will also seek to introduce the context of the time, the reflection of which was particularly evident in architecture in the period under study.
The student is able to identify the characteristic features of historical architectural styles and styles, is able to date historical architecture, knows the basic development of architecture of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.
