Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to synoptically introduce students to the development of history of fine arts in the gothic period. The course is an inseparable part of the system of lecturing history of fine arts on the bachelor´s study level, which - in the case of the fields Documentation of Historical Monuments and Cultural History - closes with final state examination.
The graduate demonstrates knowledge of the development of artistic creation of the Gothic style. The student is able to identify and date important works of art and historical buildings and is oriented in the problems of style development with its differences in different parts of Europe. Demonstrates a detailed knowledge of the artistic development of the Gothic period in the Czech lands. Has an overview of the basic titles of domestic and foreign literature.

Assessment methods and criteria

Attendance with a maximum of 3 absences, continuous performance of assigned tasks (e.g. participation in guided tours of the exhibition and permanent art-historical exhibitions). Passing a written credit test and an oral examination.
