Learning outcomes
|
Students will understand genesis and development of towns and town administration in Central European space in the period of Middle Ages and Early Modern Times. Moreover they will get familiar with the specific methodology of work with resources used for research of towns and urban society. Students are also given an overview of the newest literature on the subject, about the currents state of research focussing on the history of towns, about various approaches to this subject and about projects relating to the given issue.
