Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to give information about the key events of the period, further it attempts to formulate causal and consequential relations in wide perspective of social, political and cultural development. At the same time we will try to understand complex issues of history of the 2nd half of the 20th century.
Students should extend their knowledge and understand the issues of the newest history, they should develop their abilities to carry out research themselves. They should learn to use academic literature, periodicals, resource materials, documents. Moreover they should be able to interpret studied phenomenons and actions, to argue for their opinions and participate in a discussion.
