Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic aspects of population development against the background of historical development. Emphasis is placed not only on typology of sources, but also on methods of historical demography. The main aim of the course is to provide students with demographic context within the knowledge acquired in other courses.
Students will understand the basic methodological procedures of historical demography. He is well versed in terminology. Can identify important sources for the study of population. He knows the basic trends in the development of the population of the Czech state.
