The aim of the subject is to employ continuous education in the field in order to increase students? interest in the selected discipline and at the same time broaden their general and professional knowledge, depending on a particular studied field. The profile of the individual field trips and the selection of visited institutions and places are thus organized accordingly.
The graduates receive concrete idea about the historical development of the visited region. They also display knowledge of its historical and geographic character. They are able to enlist the significant historical monuments and localities of the particular places as well as personalities linked with the given area via their activities. They have improved orientation in the development of artistic tendencies and their expressions in the areas of architecture and fine arts. They are able to describe their characteristic features and simultaneously perceive the regional specifics. They comprehend the most significant ethnographic features of the visited regions and countries and to employ the acquired knowledge and information in their own research and pedagogical work. |
Prerequisites |
1. The graduation from Field Trip A is not preconditioned by graduating from any preceding discipline. Field Trip B is graduated from as a follow-up of the Field Trip A, usually in another academic year. 2. No specific knowledge or skills are required to graduate from the given subject.

Assessment methods and criteria |

Students are required to actively participate in all parts of an individual field trip, to issue and present the assigned paper in required quality and to graduate from the programme smoothly. |
