Learning outcomes
|
The course aims to provide students with information related to the characteristics and transformation of the Bohemian state in the pre-Blohemian period and the Thirty Years' War (1526-1648) in the wider area of Central Europe. Emphasis is placed on social and political organisation as well as religious, economic and cultural developments.
The student will understand the basic problems of the development of the Czech state in the early modern period. The student will be able to characterize the specifics of the social organization, religious environment, and economic situation. The student will understand the differences within the organization of the Estates State and its transformation in the post-Baroque period. Can interpret sources relating to the transformation of society and the state in the period under study.
