Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic mechanisms of cultural heritage management from the perspective of practitioners. The students will be able to experience the basic official and professional procedures that are regularly used in practice through practical demonstrations. The practical demonstrations will also show the application of the theories and their advantages and disadvantages for the current field of cultural heritage management and care. The lectures will also include practical excursions to understand these practices in real sites and museum institutions.
The student will extend the knowledge acquired in some of the previous courses. They will acquire new competences in practical areas of cultural heritage care, new knowledge and skills in its management, registration and presentation. Gain a clear understanding of the day-to-day work of a museum, regional and municipal staff member.

Assessment methods and criteria
|

Attendance at seminars with a maximum of 3 absences and study of the prescribed literature. The condition for completion of the course is a credit consisting of the completion of 3 assignments.
