The aim of the course is to expand the students' theoretical knowledge through a ten-day professional practice with a practical part that will be reflected in his/her further professional specialization. It is a coherent and collective practice, conducted under the guidance of a team of supervisors and tutors in the field outside the faculty environment. The choice of specific objects of practice and the selection of practically implemented thematic teaching areas are linked to the currently solved scientific projects of KHI FF UJEP.
The student will gain practical knowledge of the basic methods and techniques of documentation of material historical sources and the skills of their use. The student will be able to orientate himself/herself in finding situations and choose appropriate methods and techniques for obtaining relevant data from material historical sources. The student is proficient in a wide range of documentation methods for material historical sources. Can use them in practice and form their results into the form of finding aids according to the standards of certified methodologies of the National Heritage Institute. The output is a seminar paper in the form of a set of clean copies of documentation results from individual sites of methods and techniques.
