Course content
The teaching of the course in the combined form summarizes these topics in individual teaching blocks: 1. Typology of archival sources, terminology and editions preserved and published by memory institutions. 2. Written sources for SH. 3. Iconographic sources for SH. 4. Practical exercises in searching and interpreting sources for archival research. Students of the combined form of study deal with topics included in the compulsory literature, tasks assigned in the full-time part of the course or in the Moodle learning system, as well as on the basis of individual consultations with the teacher realized also through the communication forum in Moodle or other electronic form.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to a range of primary and supplementary archival sources (including editorially accessible ones) that provide information on the origins and structural development of historic buildings.
The student is able to orientate himself in the archives of the Czech Republic, he can work with archival sources and interpret historical written and iconographic documents as a prerequisite for the creation of archival research of building historical research.
