Course content
Teaching the course in a combined form summarizes these topics in individual teaching blocks: 1.Introduction to Civil Engineering Drawing, Standard 2. Method of drawing specific types of structures 3. Introduction to CAD, basic orientation in SW 4. Relation to documentation methods (geodesy, single-frame FGM, SfM, TLS,...) The students deal with topics covered in the compulsory literature and especially in the course outline, tasks assigned in the attendance part of the course or in the Moodle learning system, as well as on the basis of individual consultations with the teacher realized also through the communication forum in Moodle or other electronic form.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the possibilities of using CAD in the documentation, analysis and interpretation of historical buildings. The focus of the course is on the widely used Autodesk AutoCAD software platform with overlaps conditioned by the workflows of individual documentation techniques. Overall, the individual topics are based on the needs of the graphic part of building history research. Separate sections are devoted to the digitization and vectorization of historical sources in the form of maps and plans, or the possibilities of presenting the outputs of historical architecture documentation.
The student knows the CAD program, can adapt its use to individual documentation techniques, applies the principles of creating building plans of historical architecture, can produce building plans for the needs of documentation of monuments, can use the acquired knowledge to present the outputs of documentation of historical architecture.
