Learning outcomes
The seminar is a preparation for a state final examination in German linguistics. Its aim is to systematically prepare for the thematic areas of the state final examination. Students present the results of their self-study of secondary literature on given themes in the form of a paper and seminar paper, emphasizing the interlingual and intercultural aspects of the given topic.
Students attending this course - are oriented in a broader linguistic context from the point of view the synchronic and diachronic, interlingual and intercultural approach, with a special emphasis on the Czech-German context; - can present linguistic knowledge acquired by reading secondary literature and being able to reflect on it critically.

Introduction to Intercultural Linguistics, German-Czech Language Contact, Comparative Lexicology, Intercultural Aspects of Text Linguistics, Developmental Trends in Modern German

Credit requirements: - active participation in the seminar, among other things in the form of a paper on partial themes of the course subject matter; - seminar paper on the theme selected from the list of main topics.
