Course content
1. - 4. Retrieval and presentation of cultural events or other projects organized in the German language area, on the territory of the Czech Republic but with an intercultural overlap 5. - 8. Own proposal of the event aimed at the Czech-German audience (with regard to the border area), including the creation of a program and other documents. 9. - 12. Search to map out the activities and activities of companies, organizations and institutions in which the German language is applied; presentations about them; CV, motivation letter. 13. Written essay on the selected topic from the field of intercultural communication. Students will continuously create a portfolio of their own intercultural communication competences based on the European Language Portfolio.

Learning outcomes
The aim is, further to the course of Intercultural Communication II, to deepen the knowledge of students in the field of intercultural communication, as well as to develop their language competences at level C1 SERRJ, following the subject of Intercultural Communication II. This subject is focused on practical skills in intercultural communication.
Students - will become aware of cultural events, as well as cultural and social events with a cross-cultural oveplap. - will be become aware of the activities of companies, organizations and institutions in the Czech Republic where the German language is used, especially in the border area of northern Bohemia - can create a CV and a letter of motivation, - develop their language competences to level C1 and deepen their intercultural competences.

Credit requirements: - regular active participation and continuous performance of tasks, - short outcomes with the results of a search for cultural events, - presentation of the results of research in the sphere of activities of companies, organizations and institutions of Czech-German focus, - creating a CV and motivation letter, - presenting the portfolio of students´ own intercultural competences.
