Methods of text analysis, contrastive analysis of German-Czech text 7. Communication area of public communication, case studies in the field of economics and administration 8. Contrastive analyses of texts in the field of legal communication 9. Professional communication, case studies - "expert article" and "popular scientific article" 10. Communications in the field of mass media: case studies "report" and "commentary" 11. Mass media communications: case studies -"review" and "report" 12. Communications in the field of online media 13. Final contrastive analysis of the German and Czech texts

Learning outcomes
|
Learning outcomes of the course is to provide basic thematic areas of text linguistics in the Czech-German intercultural context. The course summarizes basic text linguistic knowledge, presents and confronts selected text types in German and Czech, especially text types from mass media, professional and public communication. Students are also familiar with methods of the textual and stylistic analysis.
The course attendant will acquire -knowledge of text linguistics, -knowledge of text types in different communication areas. -competence to analyse and compare selected text types in German and Czech
