Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide students with the theoretical foundations of phraseology as a linguistic discipline and to deepen and broaden their phraseological competence. In the context of explaining the basic theoretical concepts and introducing selected subgroups of phrasemes, attention will be paid in particular to the pragmatic, contrastive, cultural and intercultureal aspects of phraseology.
The student - can define the basic theoretical concepts of the discipline - can correctly use phrasemes discussed in seminars - reflects on their intercultural potential - is aware of the pitfalls of translating phrases into another language
