Course content
1. - 2. Speech comprehension skills - the importance and place of speech comprehension skills in teaching German at various levels according to SERRJ, principles of training, the main difficulties of this skill in non-native speakers, typology of exercises, strategies applicable to the training of this CD, practical samples. 3. Speech reading comprehension skills - the importance and place of reading comprehension skills in teaching German at various levels according to SERRJ, principles of practice, ways of working with foreign language text, typology of exercises, strategies applicable in the practice of this language, practical examples. 4. - 5. Speech skills of spoken expression meaning and place of speech skills of spoken speech in teaching German at individual levels according to SERRJ, principles of practice, typology of exercises, strategies applicable in the practice of this CD, compensatory techniques, practical examples. 6. Speech skills of written expression - the importance and place of speech skills of written expression in teaching German at various levels of acquisition according to SERRJ, principles of practice, the main difficulties of this skill in Czech students, typology of exercises, strategies applicable to practice this CD, practical examples. 7. Functions and role of realities in communicative intercultural teaching of German - the scope and content of the curriculum of the realities of the German-language area in teaching German at primary and secondary schools, methods of didactics of this type of curriculum, types of exercises, practical examples. 8. Functions and methods of pupil control, work with language portfolios, pupils' self-evaluation - the importance of control of pupils' performance, forms of control, stress factor and its reduction, humanization of learners' control, practical examples. 9. Issues of the state school-leaving examination for VVP German language - components of the state school-leaving examination in German, examples of state school-leaving examinations in German, work with individual components, method of evaluation, practical examples. 10. Pupil-oriented teaching of German, autonomous learning, specific requirements of pupils - the importance of individualization of German teaching at primary and secondary schools, inclusions, methods and procedures of work, practical examples.

Learning outcomes
Students will be acquainted with the basic methodological procedures of acquiring and developing speech skills. Emphasis is placed on the connection of lingvodidactic theory with teaching practice in the relevant type of schools, as well as on the development of skills in the preparation, implementation and subsequent evaluation (reflection) of the teaching unit. Students prepare a simulation of lessons (units) according to the chosen topic, goals and character of the target group. For the presentation of these simulations (outputs, microteaching), students submit written documentation (teaching unit protocol, teaching materials, exercises and assignments and more) to the seminar leader and co-students.
Students - can plan, implement and evaluate a teaching unit / lesson with regard to the chosen goal, - are able to apply a comprehensive approach to foreign language teaching, including a reflection of their own role as a foreign language teacher, both in primary and secondary school, - are able, on the basis of acquired theoretical knowledge, to sensitively and competently mediate language means and to develop basic speech skills against the background of interculturally conceived communicative methods, - can prepare a simulation of lessons (units) according to the chosen topic, goals and character of the target groups

Credit: active participation in seminars (min. 70%), fulfilment of assigned tasks, outputs in the form of microteaching, elaboration of a seminar work on a given topic, or passing the credit test.
