Learning outcomes
The course folows the seminar "Intercultural Communication I". In its first, theoretical part the terms intercultural communication, interculturality, multiculturality and transculturality will be discussed. Then it focuses on the problems connected with long term staying abroad and returning home and with dual career couples. At the end the course is dedicated to the topic of tourist guiding theoretically as well as practically. The students will be encouraged to guide internationale guests in Ústí nad Labem in German.
Students - are able to work with basic terms of intercultural communication and are acquainted with its theory - are able to read secondary literature in German and to outline its basic theoretical outcome of international tourist guiding and to apply it in practice.
