Learning outcomes
|
In the course, basic terminology and knowledge of the German morphology, morphemes and their classification, as well as selected word classes and their grammatical categories will be learnt. The gained knowledge will then be applied in texts and practiced in exercises for selected phenomena.
Students will learn the morphology of German, morphemes and their classification, selected word classes, and their grammatical categories. They will be able to use basic linguistic terminology, and to apply the gained knowledge in German in their own written and oral expression, and in the analyzed texts.

Assessment methods and criteria

To obtain credit - Active participation in seminars - Completion of all assignments - Final test (at least 70% of total points) After obtaining credit students take an oral exam (questions on topics discussed in lectures and seminars, applying knowledge on an authentic text, discussing answers from the test).
