Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to prepare students to successful communication in German. As speakers they will need productive and receptive German standard pronunciation. As future teachers they will be required to explain the pronunciation norm to their students competently and sensitively.
Student " is able to describe specifics of spoken and written communication based on general language knowledge " knows the International Phonetic Alphabet (API/IPA) at receptive level " knows German pronunciation dictionaries and can use them " knows the basic phonetics and phonology terms " can classify German vowels and consonants. |
