Preferred internship activities (according to character of the chosen institution): - preparation and organizational support of the of cultural, project, promotional, educational and other events, - preparation of proposals for joint Czech-German projects and the related agenda, - translation of documentation, correspondence or interpreting into German, website design in German, etc.

Learning outcomes
|
In this compulsory optional seminar (an internship) students acquire professional practical knowledge and skills in German-language organizations, institutions, or companies. The internship is carried out at any time during the bachelor's study, it must take place continuously for at least two months and the student must work at least 120 working hours in one organization, preferably based in a German-speaking country. The student's employment in the selected organization must be approved in advance by the KGER professional practice guarantor.
Students will gain professional experience and skills in German-language organizations, institutions, and companies.

Assessment methods and criteria

Completion of practice in the range of min. 240 hours (for min. 2 months); confirmation of the internship by the institution (including data on the length of the internship, the number of actual hours worked, the purport of the internship, the name of the tutor/mentor or responsible person, and a brief evaluation of the student's activities); a 3-page report on the internship by the student (including a description of the student's individual activities, their evaluation and benefits for his/her professional training), including formal requirements (personal data: name, study program, year of study, student personal number, course code; company/institution: name, address, contact, person responsible for the traineeship, length of the traineeship, number of hours worked.)
