Course content
|
The student/intern will complete 20 teaching units at a fully organized middle or high school. At the beginning of the internship, the student observes 4 teaching units, and then teaches several units of subject corresponding to the study program maior as an aid. The teaching units will be analyzed. The student will keep a pedagogical diary which s/he then submits to the lead didactic mentor. The practice takes place at a school of the student's own choice and in agreement with the lead mentor.

Learning outcomes
|
Assistant pedagogical practice is an internship focused on pedagogical work with students in middle and high schools. During the practice, the intern cooperates with the teacher by managing educational activities (not only) for students with special educational needs, and s/he mediates between students, and students and the teacher. Other activities performed by the intern include helping the teacher prepare for the teaching, preparing the teaching aids, school experiments, etc. Furthermore, the intern supports individuals and students groups during the educational process.
The student will acquire pedagogical skills in direct educational activities, they will improve their communication with students and their preparation for the lesson, or the preparation of teaching aids.
