Learning outcomes
The aim of the seminar is to present emergency currency as an object of linguistic analysis. Students will learn about the historical background of the emission of emergency currency and about the possibilities of linguistic analysis of these specific texts. They will then analyse selected examples of emergency currency. Another important goal of the seminar is to show students the possibilities of cooperation with the Museum of Usti nad Labem and to inspire them for their own theses.
Students will be able to define emergency currency and explain the circumstances of its emission. Furthermore, they will be able to analyse these texts and characterize its specifics. They will be acquainted with the possibilities of cooperating with the Museum of Usti nad Labem when writing their own theses.
