Course content
|
In the linguistic field the theses are aimed at trends in the current German and comparative linguistics. In the literary-critical field the theses are aimed at the tendencies in contemporary literature of German language area, reception of German-writing authors in the Czech Republic, German written literature from Bohemia and Czech-German relations in literature. In the cultural historical field the theses are aimed at Czech-German relations, German culture of Ústí region etc.

Learning outcomes
|
The bachelor thesis topic is chosen by the student himself/herself according to his/her interest, specialization and the offer of the department either in linguistic problematics, or literary-critical problematics, eventually cultural-historical problematics in terms of taught subjects. Student has to prove the ability to work with specialized literature relevant to the chosen topic. Student also has to prove the ability to his/her own solution to the given problem. Student must be able to assort, describe and elaborate the obtained knowledge in his/her thesis.
Students show the ability to orientate themselves in the scientific literature on the chosen topic and to present these results in the framework of a state exam thesis.

Assessment methods and criteria
|

Students work primarily independent under the guidance of the supervisor. The supervisor decides on when the work is sufficient and hands out the zápočet.
