The course introduces to the contemporary philosophical interpretations of media and mediality. Philosophy of media is conceived in relation to the philosophy of technology. It ask questions concerning the relation of humans and communication technologies, namely what types of changes and challenges media bring to our lives. It also focuses on the concept of mediality as one of the basic philosophical categories and critically analyses our mediaspheres.
