Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with important classical and contemporary texts related to the problem of the secular state and democracy, secularization, enlightenment and modernity. Examining whether and how the crisis of liberal democracy is related to the crisis of secularization.
The student is able to use professional terminology. The student is familiar with the basic texts on democracy and secularization. The student will acquire knowledge of the ways of their study. The student will gain the ability to name their advantages and disadvantages.
