1. Didactics of the field in the system of pedagogical disciplines. 2. Organization of the curriculum of the educational fields of Education for Citizenship (VO) and Civic and Social Sciences (OSZ) in pedagogical documents. Specifics of education for citizenship and social sciences. 3. Key elements of an effective civics lesson and basics of social sciences. Didactic analysis of sociological curriculum within VO and OSZ; analysis of a sample lesson. Didactic analysis of psychological curriculum within VO and OSZ; analysis of a sample lesson. 4. Didactic analysis of political science and legal curriculum within VO and OSZ; analysis of a sample lesson. 5. Didactic analysis of economic curriculum at primary and secondary school; analysis of a sample lesson. 6. How to teach philosophy? 7. Effective teaching methods and forms of work in civics lessons and basics of social sciences. 8. Projects and programs suitable for civic education and basics of social sciences. 9. Analysis of existing textbooks and teaching materials for civic education and basics of social sciences. 10. Learning outcomes
|
The goal of the course is to acquaint students with the educational content of Citizenship Education and the Civic and Social Science Basis, with the basic didactic knowledge of the educational content of social science subjects, to introduce them to the basic topics of subject didactics of social sciences and civics.
Students will acquire knowledge of the educational content of Citizenship Education and Civic and Social Science Foundations and will begin to develop didactic knowledge of the educational content of social science subjects and pedagogical skills.
