Features a division of Constitutions. 2nd Origins of constitutionality. 3rd The principles of constitutionalism in democratic state. 4th Material core of the Constitution. 5th Significant developmental stages of constitutionality, important Constitutions (USA, Switzerland, Germany Basic Law). 6th Constitution of 1920 7th The basic provisions of the Constitution of the Czech Republic. 8th Legislative Power. 9th Legislative Process. 10th Executive Power. 11th Judicial Power. 12th Other constitutional institutions. 13th Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms.

Learning outcomes
|
The students will know the basics of political science and theory of constitutionalism. They will know the importance and reasons for the emergence of Constitutions and their role in shaping the political framework of society. They will also know the basic institutions of the Czech constitutional law discussed in the context of the theory of politics and constitutional comparison and interpret them in terms of de lege ferenda.
The student will know how the Czech constitutional system. Will be able to interpret the differences between the Czech Constitution and selected foreign Constitutions. Will be able to interpret political events in terms of constitutional law and make an opinion on the constitutional conformity of the specific events, especially in this country but also abroad.

Student will pass the subject on the basis of a successful write the final test. Success will be achieved at 66% of points. The test will be in the range of lectures.
