Course content
|
1. Use of IT in the humanities (statistics, databases and work with them). 2. Creating a presentation accompanying presentation (meaning and purpose of a presentation, elements, means, principles, types of presentation, practical basics of creating a presentation in Powerpoint, OO - Impress programs). 3. Internet presentation (humanities and social science topics on the Internet, basics of creating a web presentation - programming, web services, html editors). 4. Image material on the Internet (web galleries, etc.). 5. Creating a presentation on a given topic. 6. Editing of digital image material (sources, web galleries, basic editing and creation of own archive). 7. Editing and sources of digital sound recording (audio on the Internet, sound editing programs, practical training in editing audio material). 8. Editing and sources of digital video material (basic terms, video on the Internet, programs for editing video, practical example of editing video material). 9. Processing of the selected audio recording or video recording. 10. Work with programs of the Office I package: text editors (types, options), text readers, electronic libraries. 11. Work with Office II programs: spreadsheet (Excel, OO - Calc). 12. Work with Office III programs: quantitative data processing in a spreadsheet.

Learning outcomes
|
The course supports the development of students' abilities in creating presentations in Powerpoint OO-Impress programs, in editing digital image material and audio recordings, and in working in Office programs.
Students will acquire knowledge and skills about creating a presentation in Powerpoint OO-Impress programs about editing digital image material and sound recording about working in Office programs
