The state final examination consists of an oral examination of the subject of archival science and auxiliary historical sciences; it also includes the defense of the final bachelor's thesis. The defense of the final thesis (major) does not have to take place on the day of the oral examination. The defense is connected with a discussion of the topic of the final thesis and the student can use the option of a projected presentation. The oral examination in the form of one question from archival science and one question from auxiliary historical sciences is aimed at a discussion of the subject taught in the courses Introduction to Archival Science I.-II, Organizing Archival Records and Auxiliary Historical Sciences I.-II. The student draws both questions separately. In both cases, the student's performance is assessed by a committee headed by a chairman appointed from among associate professors and professors.
