Course content
The course in the face-to-face form includes the following topics by individual weeks: 1. Exhibitions and archives (exhibition in the archive, recommendations, procedures) 2. Exhibitions of archival materials outside the archive (loans, banner presentations) 3. Structure of an exhibition of archival cultural heritage 4. Scenario for the exhibition 5. Cooperation of schools (primary and secondary) with archives (didactics) 6. Editorial activities (the archive as one of the places of publishing activities in the field of history) 7. Local history collections as part of the presentation of the history of the region and the involvement of archivists (editorial work) 8. Public media and archives (promotion of exhibitions, cooperation with journalists) 9. Archives Day as a means of promoting not only Czech archival science 10.-14. Preparation of an exhibition project in the form of group cooperation

Learning outcomes
The course follows the concept of Edition of Archival Sources I. It therefore focuses on one of the forms of making archival materials accessible, which is editorial activity. One of the main goals is to present the individual phases of preparing an edition. No less important will be the observation of the differences in making archival wealth accessible from the Middle Ages, or early modern times, and from the 18th to 20th centuries. The course will also include a practical output in the form of a submitted edition of a document from the 19th or 20th century.
The student masters all phases of making a selected source accessible - from heuristics to processing complementary sources. He is also able to create a scientific-critical apparatus. He is also able to explain the purpose of the introductory study. The student masters the basics of creating various types of indexes. He is able to prepare a selected source from the 19th and 20th centuries for an edition.

Prerequisite: Archival Sources Edition I.

The course output will be the submission of an edition of a selected 19th or 20th century document.
