Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is a joint discussion and solution of professional problems associated with the history of archival science (and librarianship) of the 19th and 20th centuries. The seminar will present current international trends in archival-historiographic research and examples of their application in the domestic environment. The course will have a seminar format, as students will also present the ongoing results of their final theses with an emphasis on methodological procedures and the chosen source base.
Students will gain a basic overview of the development of archival science in Czechoslovakia in the 20th century. They will be familiar with the issues of current trends in archival history research and will also master the typological source base that can be used for this study.
