Course content
1. Overview of research, recent literature, Bohemia in the 14th century (introduction to the issue) 2. Court (including residences), royal council 3. The royal domain, its administration, the royal chamber 4. Luxembourg rulers 5. Luxembourg era today (Luxembourgers in today?s society)

Learning outcomes
The lecture will focus on the royal administrative structures during the reign of the Luxembourg dynasty in Bohemia. Emphasis will be placed on the period ut to 1420, after which the monarchical administration underwent significant changes as well as the pillars of monarchical power. These structures of monarchical power will be followed with an emphasis on Bohemia - the other crown lands will be considared only marginally. Attention willbe paid to all levels of the monarchical administration from the court to regional exponents and selectively to the administration of some regions of the Bohemian.
Students should first and foremost orient themselves in the literature available on the Lucembourgers and become aware of the imprtance of anniversaries for scholarly and popular science production on the topic. They should also understand the explanatory value of sources related to the topic both in terms of their typology and in terms of the questions answered in the course. They will gain an inisght into selected aspects of the rule of the Luxembourg kings in the Kingdom of Bohemia, the instruments and supports of monarchical power during this period, or the problems that the Luxembourg kings had to deal with in the administration of the country.
