In the seminar part (supplemented by a professional excursion), students are introduced to the historical role, significance and current agenda of five existing city archives in the Czech Republic, the history and current integration of other originally city archives (within the existing SOA and SOkA) and, in particular, the irreplaceable role of this group of archives in the area of supervision of the file service, pre-archival care, shredding management and enrichment of the national archival heritage.
